In order to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of President Xi Jinping’s speech at the conference commemorating the centennial of the May 4th Movement, all student Party members from the Faculty of Foreign Languages went to the Voluntary Tutorial Center of Huai’an 520 Union of Volunteers to provide voluntary tutorial services in the community.
Our student Party members arrived at the appointed time and were warmly welcomed by the staff of 520 Voluntary Tutorial Center. Each student Party member actively tutored the community’s children on their schoolwork and assisted them with their homework, checked their homework and provided feedback timely. In addition to teaching knowledge in textbooks, our student Party members also explained the May 4th spirit to the children. Watching the smiles on the children's faces, everyone felt very proud. Additionally, our student Party members also helped the community to carry out a variety of other activities.
According to Student Party Branch Secretary Xia Yanjun, this activity was to further promote student Party members’ understanding of their party membership, strengthen practice on the premise of learning theoretical knowledge, enhance the service awareness of student Party members, so that everyone could learn while doing and strive to be a qualified student Party member.
