Time flows away like the water in the river, yet youth never fades away but go with the times and fight for dreams. On June 1st, the graduation and degree awarding ceremony of the class of 2022 HYIT students was held in the Student Activity Center of Beijing Road Campus. Party Secretary Sun Aiwu, President Chang Lv, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President Wu Jianhua, Vice President Lu Weiqun, Zhu Xiaowen, Yang Zhengya, Wang Dongdong, and Wei Hongqing, Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection attended the ceremony.

The ceremony was held simultaneously online and offline. More than 200 teachers and students attended it in the main venue, and the remaining graduates attended the online ceremony through live broadcast simultaneously in the branch venue of each faculty.

With the theme of “Paying Tribute to 20th CPC National Congress and Ushering in the New Journey”, the ceremony began with the opening dance “Flowers in June”. Teachers and students sang “Embarking on the Journey and Sharing Unforgettable Memories”. The melodious singing with sincere feelings salutes to friendship; The Dance Song “Making the Future Together”, youthful and vigorous, shows the progressive attitude of the youth in the new era to pursue dreams for the future.

Chang Lv addresses the class of 2022 graduates with his speech entitled “Writing a Vivid Chapter in Tireless Endeavors to Create a Better Future”. First, you should cultivate a strong sentiment to love your family and the motherland, and struggle to past the test of the new era. The fate of the youth has always been closely linked with that of the time. Every era has its youth mission. You should actively learn from role models, keep in mind the Party’s instructions, follow the Party’s call and integrate your individual identity to realize your self value with your collective identity to realize national rejuvenation, strive for our country, live well your own life, and embrace together a better tomorrow for our motherland.

Second, you should be good at self-management and deem self-discipline as the basic value. Please say no to “lying flat” or “putting rotten”. Let diligence, courage and the pursuit of excellence become your living habits and inner self-discipline and inner pursuit.
