The provincial award-winners and the finalists for the 13th “Lan Qiao Cup” National Competition for Software and Information Technology Professionals were recently announced. HYIT students won 208 awards in the provincial competition, including 25 first prizes, 74 second prizes, 109 third prizes. The first prizes of the provincial competition entered the national final. The number of winners of the provincial competition and the number of finalists hit a record high, fully showing the effectiveness of our school’s practical teaching system reform featured by “giving full play to the leveraging role of competition and training” and “four-dimensional linkage” .

It is reported that the “Lan Qiao Cup” National Competition for Software and Information Technology Professionals has been included in the national discipline competition for colleges and universities across the country since 2019, and it is a school-designated A-class event. In this year’s competition, more than 130, 000 students from more than 1, 600 universities in 30 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions across the country participated in the 8 competitions including C/C++ programming, Java software development, Python programming, Web application development, microcontroller design and development, embedded design and development, design and development of Internet of Things , and EDA design and development.
