Recently, the Intellectual Property Office of Jiangsu Province announced the list of proposed units for the 2022 Jiangsu Provincial Intellectual Property Strategy Promotion Plan project, and our school has been successfully approved as one of the intellectual property operation ability promotion units.

The intellectual property operation ability promotion project, through setting up materialized intellectual property operation centers, aims to establish a relatively complete set of intellectual property operation system, form a professional, compound intellectual property service team, build a standardized and marketized demonstration area of intellectual property serving regional industry development, develop a series of guarantee mechanism for intellectual property operation, and to distinctly improve both our school’s intellectual property management level and patent conversion efficiency and performance.

In recent years, our school has issued a number of policies including “HYIT Measures for the Administration of Commercialization of Scientific and Technological Finding”, “HYIT Measures for Rewarding Academic Achievements”, and “HYIT Measures for the Administration of Technical Managers” to promote the school’s patent transformation work. In the last three years, the school’s patent transformation reached more than 500, with the transformation amount totaling more than 20 million yuan. The number of patent transformation ranks among the top in universities in China. Due to its outstanding achievements in scientific research and innovation and intellectual property work, the school has been awarded “Advanced University of Scientific and Technological Work ” in Jiangsu Province, “Advanced Collective in Intellectual Property Work” in Jiangsu Province, “Technology Transfer Innovation Award” in Jiangsu Province, and “Municipal Advanced Collective of Scientific and Technological Work”, “Municipal Advanced Unit of Major Scientific and Technological Award”, “Municipal Advanced Collective of Achievement Transformation and Emerging Industry Cultivation”, and so forth.
