Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and Government held the 2019 Commendation Meeting for High-Quality Development on April 27. Lou Qinjian, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, stressed that we need to learn and implement Xi Jinping Thoughton Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, implement new outlook on development to stay at the curve of high-quality development, and that we need to win the battle against COVID-19 and ensure economic and social progress so as to open new horizons for development of Jiangsu. The meeting was presided over by Wu Zhenglong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Governor and attended by Ren Zhenhe, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee. Zhao Bingqi, Secretary of the Party Committee of HYIT, participated in thebranchmeeting in Huai’an.
The meeting announced the result of comprehensive assessment of the year 2019 and commended institutions, universities and regions that performed well in the comprehensive assessment. It is the first time that provincial colleges and universities are included in the annual comprehensive assessment. HYIT is A-rated in the comprehensive assessment with Party development appraisal, high-quality development level and satisfaction ratings ranking top among its provincial counterparts.
