From April 19 to April 20, students broke the silence on campus and returned to HYIT. The academic resumption is guided by Zhao Bingqi, HYIT CPC Secretary, Sun Aiwu,President of HYIT, Wu Jianhua, HYIT CPC Deputy Secretary and Vice President of HYIT, and Zhu Xiaowen, Yang Zhengya and Zhang Youdong, Vice Presidents of HYIT.
At 7am, HYIT staff members, school guards, traffic police officerswere in position towelcome students back to school. HYIT arranged for shuttle services between inter-city bus station, airport and the three campuses. Students had to return to the campus with their masks and get their Huai’an Pass, health certificate in the form of QR code.They also need to go through body temperature detection, identity verification, disinfection, and information registration before they were admitted to the campus. In the dormitory, registration was done again by dorm care takers with thermometers distributed among students.
HYIT leaders reviewed the risks and key links of the academic resumption and urged relevant departments to optimize their services in attempt to build a friendly and safe living and learning environment for students.
Students’ Service Office, HYIT Graduate Department, Security Department, Logistics Service Department and teacher volunteers, other faculty members and traffic police officers offered warm services to students who returned to the campus.

In response to COVID-19 outbreak, HYIT would continue to impose campus lockdown. Students have to report their health conditions and have their mealsat different time slots to minimize the chance of infection.Lectures would be given both online and offline. All faculties would organize students to learn knowledge about COVID-19 and answer their questions via QQ chat groups and videos in hope to enhance patriotism and awareness of health, social responsibility and law-based antivirus prevention and control among students.
