In order to relieve students' nervousness in the exam month and enrich their after-school cultural life, HYIT's Dance Society, Bbox Society and Guitar Society presented a Flaming Youth Gala on the 4th floor of the Student Center at 19:00 on Jan. 4. The theme was to spread the hip-hop culture and enrich students' campus life.
The gala began with the cheerful dance "Sunny," and was followed by the Guitar Society's performance of "Wind Indicator" which was like a breeze, injecting quiet melodies into the passionate evening. After that, performers from the Dance Studio presented a street-style show highlighted by lively rhythms, demonstrating the charm of hip-hop culture. The impromptu rap show pushed the gala to an unprecedented climax. The audiences gave thunderous applause for the wonderful performance. The graceful and dynamic notes as well as the light and cheerful dance moves showed the glamour of youth. With the end of the street dance competition, the gala also came to a close in the footsteps of the New Year.
This gala to a certain extent relieved students' nervousness, greatly enriched their extracurricular cultural life, and laid a foundation for improving their level of art appreciation
