From May 18th to the 20th, the two-day 7^th Physical Education Teachers' Skill (Badminton) Competition and the 1^st College Students Badminton Team Competition among colleges and universities in north Jiangsu were held at Suqian College. Our university's teacher team won the first place and the first prize in the team competition, while our student team won the fourth place in the team competition. It was the first team championship in four years won by our university's teachers in the badminton competition among colleges and universities in north Jiangsu.

This competition was participated by 10 colleges/universities in north Jiangsu, including Xuzhou Medical University, Huaihai Institute of Technology (current Jiangsu Ocean University), Huaiyin Normal University, and Xuzhou Institute of Architectural Technology (current Jiangsu Vocational Institute of Architectural Technology). After hard training and intense preparation in the early stage, our university sent a team of 10 teachers - including Wang Yongxiang, Wang Xin, Wang Dong, Zhuang Jun, Liu Xia and Zhu Min - to participate in the competition. They won the championship in the end.

After the competition, our players made a careful summary and communicated with each other on the experience and skills during the competition. They promised to train hard, strive to surpass themselves and achieve better results in higher level competitions in the future.
