In order to enrich the campus sports and cultural life and promote the development of table tennis in our university, the 19th HYIT Students Table Tennis Tournament was held and ended successfully. Through a day’s intense competition, the team of the Faculty of Automation won the first place in the team competition; the first team of the Faculty of Electronic Information Engineering won the second place in the team competition; the team of the Faculty of Business and the second team of the Faculty of Electronic Information Engineering won the third place in the team competition. Ma Ruipeng, from the Faculty of Design and Art, Zhu Pingxiang, from the Faculty of Automation and Liu Jiachen, from the Faculty of Life Science and Food Engineering, won the first place, second place and third place in men's singles respectively. Ma Shihui from the Faculty of Design and Art, Wang Qian, from the Faculty of Business, and Lin Huan, from the Faculty of Life Science and Food Engineering, respectively won the first place, second place and third place in women's singles respectively.
This tournament was open to all students of HYIT. Each faculty formed their own teams. There were three events: team competition, men's singles and women's singles. The contestants devoted themselves wholeheartedly and fought bravely in the contest. They showed their sportsmanship, enhanced their friendship and displayed the willpower and spirit of HYIT students.
