Recently, the list of winners of the National Competition of the “7th Milan Design Week” Exhibition of Excellent Works of Teachers and Students of Design Disciplines in Chinese Colleges and Universities was announced, and the teachers and students of our school won a total of 16 prizes, including 3 firsts prizes, 5 second prizes and 7 third prizes in the student group, and 1 third prize in the professional group.

   It is reported that Milan Design Week was jointly initiated and hosted by China Education Association for International Exchange and China Association of Higher Education in the period from 2016 to 2019 and organized by AAP Project Management Office of China Education Association for International Exchange. The competition is designed to truly reflect the current situation of teaching and teaching results of the national art disciplines in the new era, and to build an international exchange and learning platform for teachers and students of art disciplines across the country to display their professional talents and creativity. As one of the service projects of platform transformation in the “Overseas Learning Program for College Arts Teachers and Students” drafted by China Education Association for International Exchange, it effectively supports colleges and universities at home and abroad to share and compare teaching achievements, and has actively promoted the exchange and progress of China’s higher art education. As a breakthrough and constructive important exhibition and exchange project supported and concerned by the government and colleges and universities, the competition held by the organizing committee has promoted the practice of design innovation in colleges and universities with high-standard and high-quality exhibitions and exchange forms. It has also promoted the innovation of the talent training system of China’s higher art and design education and the educational innovation and discipline development.
