A Commendation about 2021 Jiangsu Ten Excellent Think Tank Practical Cases and Ten Excellent Research Results was issued by Publicity Department of Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and Jiangsu Provincial Association of Philosophical and Social Science the other day. “North Jiangsu Development High-level Forum Forging ‘Intelligence Engine’ of the Modernization of North Jiangsu” organized and conducted by Sun Aiwu, HYIT Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of North Jiangsu Development Research Institute, was selected as one of 2021 Jiangsu ten excellent Think Tank Practical Cases, which is a high affirmation to our North Jiangsu Development Research Institute’s serving the government’s decision-making with high-quality Think Tank Achievement.

Jiangsu Ten Excellent Think Tank Practical Cases are set by Publicity Department of Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and Jiangsu Provincial Association of Philosophical and Social Science to enhance the building of New Type of Think Tank with Chinese characteristics, to sum up and popularize our provincial Think Tank experience in building and management, to improve the administrative capacity of Think Tank and developing level, to spur the emergence of more outstanding results, to build Jiangsu Think Tank Brand, and to serve better the overall situation of Jiangsu high-quality development.

The practical case, “North Jiangsu Development High-level Forum Forging ‘Intelligence Engine’ of the Modernization of North Jiangsu”, applied by North Jiangsu Development Research Institute, expounds the basic condition and results of “North Jiangsu Development High-level Forum”, Think Tank Brand forum series. Since 2016, guided by Provincial North Jiangsu Development Research Institute, Provincial Think Tank Office, Provincial Association of Social Science etc., North Jiangsu Development Research Institute has held five successful North Jiangsu Development High-level Forums in succession, at which masters gathered and discussed hot and difficult issues in North Jiangsu development, to make reasonable analysis and offer solution to the problems in the high-quality development of North Jiangsu, to explore new paths to the high-quality development of North Jiangsu. The achievements of forums have gained nearly ten affirmative comments given by chief provincial and municipal leaders and were reported extensively by XINHUANET, China Economy Net, Jiangsu China Net, Xinhua Daily and other media, producing considerable social impacts. In the future, the forum will still keep a foothold in north Jiangsu, exert radiation effect on Jiangsu, set topics aiming at major issues in north Jiangsu development, and take the forum as a platform to release a series of Think Tank research results and derivatives.
