Intellectual Property Association of Jiangsu Colleges commended the universities for their outstanding performance in intellectual property work in 2021, and our school has been rated as “Advanced Collective in Intellectual Property Work”.

In recent years, our school has been thoroughly studying and carrying out General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions regrading intellectual property work, implementing the deployment of National Education Working Conference, adhering to the new development concept and the main line of high-quality development, further implementing the innovation-driven development strategy and intellectual property power strategy, and thus has comprehensively improved school patent creation quality, efficiency, management level and service ability, promoted scientific and technological innovation and discipline construction to support the construction of education power, science and technology power and intellectual property power. In 2021, the number of patent applications, patent authorization and transformation of our school all reached a record high, ranking 78th in the patent transfer list of Chinese universities and 68th in the national patent license ranking, achieving a double improvement of quantity and quality. In August 2021, the school was awarded a GB/T33251-2016 certification of intellectual property management regulations, ranking the 13th university in China.
