Recently, the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council issued The Notice on Issuing the List of Additional Doctoral and Master’s Degree Awarding Units and Degree Authorization Points in 2020. After the examination and approval of the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council, the school has been successfully approved as a master’s degree awarding unit and three master’s degree authorization points for Materials and Chemical Industry, Transportation and Agriculture.

The approval of a master’s degree awarding unit and three master’s degree authorization points is a historic breakthrough and an important milestone in the history of HYIT, which shows our practice of “serving the special needs of the country” in the pilot project of postgraduate education has been recognized. It will more effectively serve the national and regional economic and social development and promote the high-quality development of our school.

The school will take this opportunity to thoroughly implement the spirit of the 19th National Congress of CPC and the second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth plenary sessions of the 19th Central Committee, and fully implement the spirit of National Educational Conference and National Conference on Postgraduate Education.
