In March, flowers bloom. On March 10, members of the volunteer team "Little Rain Drops" of the Faculty of Chemical Engineering visited the Central Primary School of Wudun Town in Huai’an City to carry out an Arbor Day themed activity entitled "Planting Trees of Hope, Spreading the Spirit of Zhou Enlai" with the students of Class 3, Grade 4, the "Zhou Enlai Class."

At the beginning, the leader of our volunteer team explained the significance of the activity and called on everyone to protect our green homeland and inherit the spirit of Zhou Enlai with practical actions on the occasion of the upcoming Arbor Day. After that, our volunteers and students of the Zhou Enlai Class began to plant trees, dig holes, plant seedlings, water and fill soil with concerted efforts and tacit cooperation. Trees were planted and flower seeds were sown to add new green to the beautiful schoolyard.

The students said that environment protection needs to start from small things and the idea of "loving green and protecting green start from everyone" should be established, so as to create a good school atmosphere that everyone creates green and everyone protects green.

Through this activity, the students not only established their environmental awareness to "pay attention to the ecological environment and create a green homeland," but also passed on the spirit of Zhou Enlai with their own actions.
