Recently, the winners of the 2020-2021 A'Design Award & Competition have been announced. Yang Yang, a teacher from Faculty of Design and Art, won the Bronze Award for her High Vacuum Sputtering System. It is the first time that HYIT teacher has won an award in this important international competition.

A'Design Award & Competition, the world's leading annual international design competition, is recognized by the International Council of Graphic Design Associations (ICOGRADA) and the Bureau of European Design Associations (BEDA). It is also a member organization of ICSID (International Council of Societies of  Industrial Design), ICOGRADA and ADI (Associazione per il Disegno Industriale). The competition aims at providing a fair, impartial and competitive platform for companies, designers and innovative talents from different countries in various fields around the world. The entries are reviewed anonymously from multiple perspectives by a jury of 211 famous designers, scholars and influential press personages.
