March 3 marked the first day of the new spring semester in our school. According to the school teaching arrangements, a three-week online teaching will be launched after students’ returning to school.
Early in the morning, teachers have come to the classrooms to prepare for online teaching. The small screen connects the bigger online classroom. Regardless of the fact that there is only a teacher in each classroom, the study atmosphere does not change and the enthusiasm does not wane. Teachers and students gather in the “Treenity, “Tencent conference”, “iCourse” and other online learning platforms to open the new semester’s first lesson online, thus ushering in the new semester’s online teaching.
Early in the morning, President Sun Aiwu, Deputy Party Secretary and Vice President Wu Jianhua, Vice President Lu Weiqun, Zhu Xiaowen, Zhang Youdong, Wang Dongdong, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission Wei Hongqing, Party Committee Standing Committee member Hua Xuecheng, Qin Jiapi led the teams to visit the front-line teachers at the Mei Cheng Road Campus, Beijing Road Campus and Xiaohu Campus respectively.
During the visit, the school leaders talked cordially with the representatives of the front-line teachers, extended care and greetings to the teachers and encouraged them to be “four must-haves” teachers (having ideals and beliefs, moral sentiment, solid knowledge and benevolence) in the new era . The new journey has already begun with the new inspiring goal, and it is hoped that the entire teaching staff will be committed to the original aspiration and mission, keep up the spirits of serving the people, innovating and pioneering, and working hard to promote the school cause to a new level with the actual effect of concrete work. Our school attaches great importance to the teaching work of the new semester with meticulous organization and arrangement, coordination among various departments and units, and actively completes the online teaching work in the first three weeks before students’ returning to school. Each faculty actively organizes all the teachers to complete the preparation work of online teaching, so as to timely know whether the students are ready for online learning and solve problems in time; arranges teachers and students to register and establish QQ group, WeChat group, etc according to the requirement of different platforms. All the teachers employ various forms including live teaching, recorded teaching, and introducing other advantageous resources, to conduct preview, online teaching as well as assignments and other teaching activities according to the established schedule arrangement, which effectively guarantee the orderly online teaching.
