We both think such a place full of sweet memories should appear in our wedding photos, which gives our wedding photos more special meaning.” Recently, Wang Hu and Mao Jingwen, who graduated from Huaiyin Institute of Technology, returned to their alma mater to take the most precious wedding photos of their lives on the beautiful campus and record the initial beautiful moments of their college life.

In September 2012, Wang Hu, from Lianyungang and Mao Jingwen, from Xuzhou came to HYIT to start their college life, and were coincidentally in the same class of 1121, Faculty of Chemical Engineering. Mao Jingwen said: “Although we were in the same class, I did not notice him in the first year. We were just like two parallel lines moving forward on our own journeys.”
This year, Mao Jingwen headed into books and her favorite associations, striking a balance between her study and her scattered time to enrich her college life and develop her interests. As soon as Wang Hu entered the school, he ran for monitor of the class and put his mind into the organization and planning of class activities. “We’re very much alike. We’re both targeted people. We believe that ‘diligence is the path to the mountain of knowledge, and and-working is the boat to the endless sea of learning.’Only by fighting and striving in university time can we say that we are not wasting our time .” Wang Hu said.
It is because of the firm belief that the two are among the best in their academic achievements. During four years of university, Wang Hu won the National Scholarship and won many times the National Inspirational Scholarship, the First-class Scholarship of HYIT and other honors. Mao Jingwen also won the National Inspirational Scholarship, the First-class Scholarship of HYIT, the Excellent Graduates of HYIT, and because of her excellent comprehensive quality, was selected to Nanjing University of Technology for the exchange study for one year, where she won he honorary title of “Excellent Exchange Student”.

Fate is so wonderful. The two “parallel lines” somehow made a turn and had an “intersection”. In the sophomore year, Mao Jingwen transferred to the bioengineering major. Thus, the two, who might have missed, met again because of choosing the same teacher’s English class. “Once the English teacher asked a question about family, he got up and answered, full of love for his family.” Mao Jingwen said.
After class, the two added to each other as QQ friends, both feeling that they are meant to be together. In the sophomore year, Wang Hu took a part-time job in the urban area in order to enhance his social ability. Mao Jingwen sometimes took a bus to pick him up. When they came back, they wanted to walk a little and then took a bus, but often ended by chatting and walking to school. The seven-kilometer long road became a relaxing and pleasant trip because of the company of a like-minded person.
“In the second semester of the Junior year, he prepared to take the postgraduate examination while I was trying to do job-hunting directly, and then at the end of the summer vacation, I decided to join him in the examination.” Mao Jingwen said with a smile as she recalled.

In the summer vacation of the Junior year, Wang Hu stayed in school to prepare for the exam. Mao Jingwen also stayed in Huai’an and found a part-time job. During her leisure time, Mao Jingwen sometimes went to accompany Wang Hu to study together, and they two sat quietly together, reading. “That summer vacation, it was actually particularly hot and made me impetuous, but because she was with me, the hot summer became quiet and cool.” Wang Hu’s seriousness and persistence triggered Mao Jingwen to rethink about her future choice.
“Is employment really the best choice now ?” “Further study in the professional road might enable me to go a little further, and perhaps can see more beautiful scenery.” Embracing these ideas, together with teachers’ advice and the influence of the students around, Mao Jingwen determined to change her former goal and prepare for the post-graduate entrance examination.
Together on the road of preparing for the examination, the little couple obviously became more energetic.Mao Jingwen quickly entered the state of preparation. Later, the two were successfully admitted to Nanjing University of Technology. Although of different specialties, they two help and encourage each other in the common places as much as possible. Working together, struggling together, Wang Hu and Mao Jingwen’s feelings for each other developed to be more stable than ever.
Last year, after graduation, Wang Hu and Mao Jingwen passed the interview together, and entered the same corporation. As to returning to HYIT to take wedding photos, Wang Hu felt a lot: “HYIT has transformed me from an extremely depressed one who didn’t do well in the college entrance examination into a cheerful and confident college student. It also is the very place where I met my soul mate, harvested beautiful love, and therefore is of great significance to me. We’ve decided to go back to HYIT from time to time after graduation.”
“Unconsciously our 6-year long-distance love journey has proved to be fruitful. In March, this year, we obtained the marriage certificate. In the days to come, we will hold hands tightly to face the future with youth and sweat, with love and dreams, and will be happy ever after.” The two said happily and firmly.
