On Aug. 10, the “Annual Conference 2019 of the Jiangsu Provincial Society of  Foreign Experts in Culture and Education” was held in Jiangsu University, at which advanced units and individuals in the management system of foreign experts in culture and education（FECE）were commended. HYIT was rated 2019 “Advanced Unit of Management System of FECE in Jiangsu Province” and Xu Xiaomei from the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange was granted with the honor of “Excellence”.  

In recent years, HYIT has been doing well in introducing FECE in culture and education, continuously improving rules and regulations and promoting the management system with two provincial studios for foreign experts approved and advanced unit of management system of FECE rated at Provincial level for two years on end. At present, the school has 16 foreign teachers, 93% of whom are Ph.D. Since 2019, four new foreign teachers have been introduced, a research project on the work of FECE has been approved, and one person was conferred with the “Jiangsu Friendship Award” in 2019. By far, more than 10 SCI and EI papers by FECE have been published, one “Industry-Univerisity-Research” project has been approved. The School gives full play to their professional advantages and their leading role in teaching and scientific research in the hope of improving the overall teaching level  and promote the development of discipline.
