On Aug. 15, the results of 2019 National Undergraduate Electronic Design Contest's Jiangsu Division were announced. Five teams from HYIT won the first prize and the second prize. The team formed by Liu Yuxin, Zhang Pei and Gu Yu (Advisors: Ke Yongbin and He Xiaofeng) won "First Prize A" and advanced to the national competition.

The National Undergraduate Electronic Design Contest is jointly initiated by the Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education and the Department of Personnel and Education of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Two levels of awards—regional and national—are set for one competition. This year, among the 174 first prize winners and 358 second prize winners that stood out from 1,167 teams in the Jiangsu Provincial Competition, 116 teams (First Prize A winners) were recommended to participate in the national competition.
The Faculty of Electronic Information Engineering and the Faculty of Automation jointly formed 23 teams to participatein the competitionon behalf of HYIT. Through the competition, students are encouraged to participate in extracurricular science and technology activities, enhancing their innovation ability and teamwork spirit, laying asolidfoundation for outstanding talents to serve the cause of social development.
