Recently, the winners of the 15th “Higher Education Cup” National College Students’ Advanced Mapping Technology and Product Information Modeling Innovation Final Competition were announced. The students of our school won 18 awards in the categories of road and bridge, architecture and machinery, including 4 second prizes and 14 third prizes.

The “Higher Education Cup” National College Students’ Advanced Mapping Technology and Product Information Modeling Innovation Competition is the  highest-level national competition of cartography courses, and is in the list of  national discipline competition of colleges and universities of China Association of Higher Education. The competition aims to cultivate students’ spirit of craftsman, stimulate their innovative consciousness, explore the development direction of graphics, and innovate the methods and means of mapping carriers. The competition aims to promote teaching, learning and reform so as to improve college students’ graphics ability overall, to give birth to and encourage a large number of talents to change from the era of being made in China to the era of being created in China. It is reported that 10344 contestants of 1040 teams from 675 colleges and universities across the country took part in the competition
