The list of National Final award-winners of the 13th “Lan Qiao Cup” National Competition for Software and Information Technology Talents were recently announced. HYIT students won 23 awards in the competition, including 4 first prizes, 6 second prizes, 6 third prizes and our school was also awarded the “Winning School and Excellent Organizational Institution”. The instructors of the winners come from the Faculty of Automation (16 awards for guidance), the Faculty of Electronic and Information Engineering (5 awards for guidance), and the Faculty of Computer and Software Engineering (2 awards for guidance).

“Lan Qiao Cup” National Competition for Software and Information Technology Talents has been listed in the national discipline competition rankings for colleges and universities across the country since 2019, and it is a school-designated A-class event. In this year’s competition, 11,061 top players from Peking University, Tsinghua University, Fudan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, University of Science and Technology of China and so on gathered to compete fiercely for the final.

Our school, a co-host competition site of the 13th “Lan Qiao Cup” National Competition for Software and Information Technology Talents (software and electronics). The School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the Faculty of Automation, the Faculty of Computer and Software Engineering, the Faculty of Electronic and Information Engineering and other faculties have organized the competition carefully, and the award-winning level and number have hit a record high. It fully shows the effects of our school’s practical teaching system reform featured by “giving full play to the leveraging role of competition and training” and “four-dimensional linkage” .
