Jiangsu Education Department recently issued a Circular on the Quantitative Supervision of Employment of College Graduates in 2021 (Su Teaching Letter [2022] No. 6), and our school has been awarded the title of “A-class College in Quantitative Assessment of Employment of College Graduates in 2021”, which reflects the full affirmation of Jiangsu Education Department to our school’s employment work.

In 2021, under the circumstance of the normalization of epidemic prevention and control, our school adhered to the working concept of “holding fingers into a fist” and “five-member linking”, with all the staff members participating and caring about students’ employment, and vigorously implemented the “three-heart project”, to provide employment services with “a genuine heart”, to help students build “confidence” in job application, and to offer accurate help with “love”. Throughout the year, more than 800 off-line job fairs, nearly 20 online recruitment meetings were held, and about 3,000 employers participated in the recruitment, offering more than 100,000 job opportunities, and serving more than 170,000 college students from our university and the surrounding universities, forming a good brand effect of campus recruitment. Through the joint efforts of the whole university, the employment rate of 2021 graduates of our university has reached 97.23%, ranking at the forefront of undergraduate universities in the province. Secretary of our school’s Communist Party Committee, Sun Aiwu, exchanged his work experience at the online video conference on the employment and entrepreneurship of 2022 college graduates in Jiangsu.

The school will thoroughly implement the decision-making and deployment of the Jiangsu Education Department on the employment of graduates, excel in employment management, guidance services, help and support students in difficulty with more enthusiasm and pragmatic style, continuously enhance the core competitiveness of students’ employment, and strive to achieve fuller and higher quality employment for graduates, and promote the graduates’ employment to a new level.
