Recently, the Ministry of Education issued “the Announcement on the Results of the First Batch of First-class Undergraduate Courses at National Level ”(FUCNL). Through the selection, application and recommendation of colleges and universities and provincial education administrative departments, and online reviews and review meetings organized by the Ministry of Education, Organic Chemistry, presided over by Xu Haiqing, an HYIT associate professor of Faculty of Chemical Engineering, is selected as the first batch of first-class undergraduate course at national level .

In October 2019, the Ministry of Education issued “Advice on the Implementation of the First-class Undergraduate Course Construction”. It is planned to build about ten thousand national and ten thousand provincial first-class undergraduate courses after three years or so (“Double-Ten-Thousand Plan”). In order to carry out the relevant requirements of the Ministry of Education, on the basis of highlighting the concept and characteristics of running a school, HYIT encourages faculties to organize qualified curricula for application. HYIT regards first-class course construction as an important grasp of enriching the connotation of school construction, and should be strengthened and promoted. According to the requirements of the national first-class course construction, HYIT will take this opportunity to further consummate and implement the construction plan.
